The City is asking residents to provide input and share feedback on their experience using the current Hamilton.ca website. Beginning August 17, 2020, the consultation process runs until September 4, 2020 and will leverage the City’s new Engage Hamilton platform and tools to identify key themes for improvement.
The Hamilton.ca website redesign will focus on delivering valuable content, an efficient content management tool and a commitment to an improved user experience.
The City of Hamilton website is a key communications tool that provides a variety of information about programs, services and operations to residents, businesses and other stakeholders. The feedback gathered from this process will provide valuable insight to ensure any updates and redevelopment work meets the needs of Hamiltonians.

Rock scaling maintenance on the face of the Niagara Escarpment will have New Mountain Road being CLOSED to vehicular traffic between Ridge Road and Leslie Drive.
Work is scheduled from Monday, July 20th (at 9 am) until the afternoon of Saturday, July 25th.

UPDATE: Outdoor Water Use Restrictions Lifted
HAMILTON, ON – Last week, the City of Hamilton issued a ban on all non-essential outdoor water use across all parts of Hamilton.
Effective immediately, this ban has been lifted and residents are permitted to resume non-essential water use outdoors, including watering lawns, using sprinklers, filling large pools and washing cars.
The City thanks residents for their cooperation in limiting their water use and helping to ensure the water supply in Hamilton was not interrupted. Thanks to the efforts of residents in helping to conserve water, the City was able to lift the ban a few days ahead of schedule.

Weekend closures on Regional Road 56 beginning Friday
HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete culvert installations, the City of Hamilton will be closing Regional Rd 56 between Rymal Rd and Golf Club Rd for two weekends this month beginning Friday, July 10, 2020.

Motorists should follow signs for detour using Hendershot Rd. Local access will be maintained from the south end of the closure at Regional Rd 56 and Golf Club Rd.
