My office has received communications with pictures about coyote sightings in and around the multi-use pathway in Valley Park, along the creek. Coyotes are usually timid animals around people but they can be attracted by dogs running off leash. So, please keep your dogs on a leash and children close by your sides. We have alerted the city and the Hamilton Conservation Authority. SIgns will be posted shortly. We have attached an article titled, “Living with Coyotes”.

Veteran’s Crosswalk in Stoney Creek
The three Stoney Creek Councillors Jeff Beattie, Matt Francis and Brad Clark worked together with our Public Works staff and City Council to place a unique Veterans Crosswalk at the cenotaph (funded through landfill royalties).
Our Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony will kick off at 10:30am Monday November 11th.
