I am urging Ward 9 residents to not park on streets during this snow event where possible. Parked cars can prevent efficient snow clearing and EMS responses.
Escarpment roads, accesses, regional routes, main arteries and bus routes are the priority during “Significant Weather Events”. Due to the expected amount of snow, it may take longer to clear residential streets and courts. We ask for your patience.
City line 905 546-2489 is available for any urgent calls.
Finally, I am asking you to be mindful of seniors and frail neighbours. Over exertion in such snow events may cause injuries and cardiac events. This may be a record snow event so please be careful and mindful of your neighbours.
